Two Seasons – Boracay Day 1

I am so excited!!! Our dream vacation just came true. I first fall in love with Two Seasons when I saw it in ABS CBN’s Your Song Presents My Only You starring Kim Chui and Gerald Anderson. My first trip to Bora was last November 2007 with Ney, and my friends Mhayee and Mabel. We stayed at La Carmella in Station 2. This year since we are celebrating our 10th anniversary, we decided to make it extra special, give in to our “luho” and experience life in Station 1.

We were scheduled for a Zest Air 10:30AM flight. But as expected, flight was delayed for an hour. We reached Caticlan at around 12:30PM. Looking for our transfer was so easy since “Kuya” from the resort was carrying a big hotel signage made from wood, inspired by the Hotel’s logo. He carried our bag and assisted us to the Van. An air conditioned van fetched us and took us to a private boat going to the island. And did I mention that the van and the boat were all by ourselves? We felt like royalties, given the best service ever. We felt we were like movies stars given the VIP treatment. They’ve given the real value to the service we have paid. From the Boracay Port, another aircon van fetch us and took us to the Hotel.
The staff was so accommodating and helpful. We were asked to wait for 10 minutes as they prepare our room. We took this time to take our first pictures of Bora. The sun was amazing. The sand was glowing white, the beach was a calm blue crystal and the sky was so clear. When we got to our room, everything we saw exceeded our expectations. We kindda have an idea of what to expect since we have browsed some site reviews for Two Seasons even before we arrived. But it was different when you’re already there; from the bathroom, the bed and the veranda, we were like kids checking out every detail in the room. I knew that we will have a great vacation this time.

After a little rest and fixing our things, we took a stroll down the beach. The beach was not as crowded. I had my hair braided in Station 2 and he got his henna. Station 2 was so different from my first visit. Some of the establishment before were already gone and was turned into a new Hotel. Some hotels were renovated into an establishment. There’s a Havaiana’s store in bora..Yellow Cab and even Shakey’s. Talk about commercialization.

Our first night in Bora was amazing. They have setup a cabana for our dinner. We had a generous serving of mushroom soup, liempo with cucumber as sidedish and for dessert, assorted fruits. Each serving was good for 2 persons already. We were only halfway in finishing food and we were already full. Eventually we had to give it up before our tummy’s explode. We took a talk and experience night life in Club Paraw. He had 2 bottles of San Mig Light, I had a glass of Weng – Weng. After finishing the glass, I was already “weng weng”...hahahaha…and finally we had to call it a day! Welcome to Bora!!!
